VIZIO Mobile is an application developed by VIZIO, Inc. that allows users to control the entire entertainment experience using a mobile device. With the app, simple controls are available no matter where you are. For example, common control of mobile devices to play or pause content, adjust volume, etc., all in the palm of your hand.
Next, watching shows and movies on HBO Max TV just got easier and easier. VIZIO Mobile now have a native HBO Max app, so you don’t need to cast content from another device. In addition to accessing HBO Max the old-fashioned way by pressing a button on the remote, you can also use voice navigation through the VIZIO Mobile app or the Voice Remote with VIZIO Voice. What’s more,
VIZIO Mobile works roughly the same way every other Android device does, and it doesn’t rely on any custom features to display notifications and place playback controls in the notification shade.
All in all, the app is very feature-rich and robust, and while there are some minor hiccups, they don’t affect the experience in a big way. At the same time, it’s worth mentioning that some features of VIZIO Mobile require a VIZIO account (available for free).

From the actual experience, this has been a great app as is for plenty of time, even got a choice of different remote shapes depending on which phone I’m using. In addition, it is super easy to pair up and use. You can access your TV’s apps from the phone and even favorite the apps so you can get to them faster. It’s handy for those times you lose the main remote. However, it would be nice be able to power on the TV using the app as it sometimes doesn’t work from a cold start up. The TV has to be powered on before it can work. In a way it sort defeats the whole purpose of even using it. Other than that, everything else is pretty solid.

On iOS App Store, the rating of My5 is 4.4 out of 5.0, with 8,200 user reviews. On Google Play, its rating is 3.7 out of 5.0, with 60,100 user reviews and more than 5,000,000 installs. Based on the above data, we can find that this app has relatively high scores and ranks high in App Store.

Pros
1. It has a lot of different ways to control things.
2. The layout of the new remote is good and it’s easier to use.
3. This comes in a lot of handy for when you can’t find your remote or don’t want to get up to reach it.
4. This app is a better, visual way, on controlling the sound levels for the soundbar than the actual soundbar remote.
Cons
1. Now it has less buttons, less functionality, forced ads and lagging and crashing issues.
2. The sliding function buttons barely work.
